Come sit with me in the garden..
This is my welcome letter and me inviting you into my world of deep love and work building bridges between the external and the internal.
I am glad you found your way here,
Welcome to the Garden of Delārā.
Delārā (دلآرا) is a Persian word holding the deep meaning of “that which adorns the heart and brings beauty to it with care.” In Persian poetry, this word often refers to the Beloved, the Divine, the quiet presence that awakens beauty, tenderness, and longing within the soul. It is not simply a name, but a gesture toward the idea that the heart itself can become a garden when it is touched by beauty.
This space is a quiet garden of poetry, contemplative prose, and reflections on beauty, nature, and the inner life. Here the writing unfolds slowly, like paths through a garden. Some lead to the courtyard where everyday moments are shared. Others lead to the fountain, where deeper reflections on the soul and the unseen are written beside the sound of moving water.
Readers are invited to wander freely among these paths, pausing wherever the heart feels at home.
Within the garden there is also a quiet private chamber known as The Khalvat (خلوت). In Sufi tradition, a khalvat is a place of gentle retreat and solitude. It is where one sits in stillness, away from the noise of the outer world in order to listen more closely to the soul. It is not isolation, but a kind of quiet intimacy, where reflection, beauty, and inward practices can unfold without interruption.
Here inside the Garden of Delārā, The Khalvat is the private chamber that will be open to paid subscribers and is where I will share more intimate writings, private reflections, and occasional glimpses into my inner and outer beauty rituals, the quiet practices through which I care for both the soul and the body, and special lyrical meditations, prose, and poetry.
The Garden of Delārā is not meant to be rushed.
It is simply a place to sit for a while and to wander slowly among words. You come here to remember that beauty still lives quietly within the heart, and it can be adorned and made brighter at any stage in our life.
With warmth,
Noor
